Renaissance Festival 2012

Sunny was in awe of this mushroom. (It started off crouched down and stood as it grew)
See the boy in the blue? She was suppose to hold his hand and follow the rest of the children....
Instead, she followed the mushroom across the field in the opposite direction.
Funniest thing ever. :)
She was also the only one who was eager to "grow" with the flower.

Well, I've thought about it, and I'm a bit disheartened knowing that most people who enter photo contests are going to have quality cameras that they know how to use properly (gulp.) While editing my photos I realized that most of my shots are out of focus, and are filled with shadows and/or harsh lighting.
I will readily admit, I don't know how to fix them.

I wasn't going to put all of these up at once, but I decided best to post and move on. I had hope for a few of these. The one I thought about entering is the third to last photo. It could have been...awesome. Perhaps it's the perfect example as to why I would like to win a free camera, or at least learn how to use the one that I have properly.

So there you have it, contest or not, I do hope you enjoyed the photos.

(sorry, there is no rhyme or reason to this mess. I uploaded them as I edited them.)

  1. Gosh, Sunny, they are ALL beautiful! I am browsing through them, really wishing that I was there... Don't know if you can participate only with one photo, but you should definitely try! It's not always about "perfect" (technically) picture, but also about the mood and feeling, and you got plenty of it!!!

The new camera sounds good!!! I just got one myself month ago from my loving man, and still trying to become friends with it... It's my first "semi-professional", I'm used to my old little pocket friend, and having bigger thing still feels very heavy, strange and uncomfortable... Greetings!
