Arboretum

 

 

 

We wanted to take S someplace fun, but we weren't sure where. I'm happy with just a walk through the woods 

and mostly S is content with that also. Sometimes it's fun to jazz things up a bit though, so I spent some time 

online the night before looking for somewhere new to go. I came across information on the Arboretum and thought it looked interesting. I'm here to tell you, it was crazy cool! We were there for 4 hours and saw such a small amount of what they have to offer. The great part about that is, when we paid to get in they gave us our receipt and said if we bring it back in the next 30 days, we will get back in for free. I'm so excited for our return trip in a few weeks when the trees are at their peak. The nature play area was such an unexpected and pleasant surprise, we came out of the woods and literally stumbled upon it. Not only were the forts awesome, S loved them and they gave me some really great ideas for projects to do at home. I'm thinking a fort made by daddy and Sunny would be pretty special. 

I also love the idea of the fairy/elf furniture made out of branches.
