Did I mention that the movie we watched with S at the drive-in was The Smurfs? This led us to, of course, want to try to make our own Smurf village. I happened to have loved the Smurfs when I was a little girl, so this was a lot of fun for me. S was able to help decorate and stuff the mushrooms, which I think made her feel like she was part of the process. We both really enjoyed the time we spent together making these. 

If any of you are interested in purchasing one of the fabric mushrooms (top photo. I would tweak the design a bit of course. This one was thrown together very much on the fly without much forethought put into it.)
please let me know, as I would be delighted to have an excuse to make some more!
