"It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living."

We went back to visit our old neighborhood yesterday. It was so good to visit with our sweet neighbors once again. We really don't live far from there now, but seldom is everyone around at the same time. You know how it goes. We played on the hill with S's buddy from next door, her first real friend I believe.
She even used to stand at the end of his driveway and wait for him to come out and play with her.
We played hide-&-seek, climbed (and hugged) trees, and rolled down the hill. We even got to visit with an adorable little puppy friend of ours. S was so tired out by the time we headed home, she climbed right up in my lap for a little snuggle. We miss the old hood, even if we love our new home and our new neighborhood.
We will be back soon!
