"It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living."

We took advantage of the beautiful warm day and we spent it playing outside. S was thrilled to run around, splashing in puddles and exploring corners of our backyard, that with the long winter months, had been long since forgotten. I get the sense that everything seems new to her once again.

Dare I say, I even had a few (very brief) moments to peek at my copy of Taproot.
... here's to hoping that I get a chance to actually read it sometime soon!

sending sunny smiles across the tree tops
may they reach you and engulf you
with a gentle peacefulness.
if you listen closely you may even hear
giggles floating by ever so near you
on the wind.

We are also loving Taproot. We get to go to a Taproot party on Sunday and meet Amanda Soule! The Nova insert has several pictures of my kids. :)
