A Gnome Halloween

As promised, here I return with a little gnome by my side.
Sunny decided weeks ago that a gnome is what she wanted to be for Halloween. I was a bit hesitate to jump into making a costume for her, knowing at this age she could change her mind at any moment. In the end, the gnome hat could have been made a bit more pointed (I fear she didn't look much like a gnome!) and the costume more detailed but she loved it anyways, and of course, I loved her in it.
We started out going to ZooBoo on the weekend and finished off celebrating with trick-or-treating on Halloween. There was pumpkin carving, a neighborhood Haunted House which S loved (this girl of mine seems to know no fear!) and more candy than she could ever consume. Funny thing, S didn't quite understand the concept behind trick-or-treating. Every time someone would give her a candy, she would reach in her bucket and give one back to them. We tried to explain to her that she didn't have to do that,
but she just kept saying, "I want them to have a treat too!"
Plus, we met another gnome. Not just any gnome, a gnome with 'magic' fingers that glowed.
It doesn't get much better than that.

A very special thank you also to sweet Lilli over at Mothwise for saying such nice things about me and for adding a link to my blog. You put a smile on my face that lasted all day. Thank you also to those of you who have visited here because of Lilli and who have chosen to follow my blog. Really, to anyone who is taking the time to read these words of mine, I thank you. You have all made my days a bit brighter.
