"It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living."

This was our third, and perhaps our final trip for the season, to the nature park reserve. I do hope to sneak in once more right after the first snow fall, before they shut the park down for the winter months. We will have to wait and see. It was cold and windy, as perhaps the photos may indicate. S was smack dab in the middle of a cold, you would never guess it from the pictures though. She is as content as can be when we get her out in nature. We had hoped that there was an area to get down to water, and we did hike about looking for one. We didn't have any luck however, there is a wooden fence and beyond that it is privately owned land down to the waters edge. It seems such a shame, but it is what it is. We love this park and consider it our hidden treasure. I'm already dreaming of the exploring we will do once spring time is upon us and the world within these trees begins to blossom once again. Through the cold winter months my thoughts will surely lead me back to here, back to the laughter and the wind blowing through the trees. Whispering it's song into our hearts, filling our minds and lungs with it's purity. I feel the magic here. It really does exist.

  2. I know they (whoever they are) that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. Even so, I feel sure that 'they' would all agree that beauty is sometimes just that; beautiful! (Did that make any sense at all, I wonder?)
I smile every time I come, and every time I leave!
    Thank you,
